How do I Collect Handprints? You may use a handprint from an art project or you may simply use any baby-safe ink pad and plain white paper. Black ink works best. Practice taking prints on any blank white sheet of paper (no lines). Lightly touch the inked surface twice and then press downward on the paper. Use more of a tapping motion than a rolling one. Take a high resolution digital photos of the best prints (for highest resolution- try to fill the frame with one print). For best results, make sure the photos are in sharp focus.
