A regal purple amethyst is surrounded by glittering rose cut diamonds in this spectacular antique pendant! Shaped like an adoring heart, this amethyst is a unique, fancy cut. Its top is smooth like a cabochon except carved at the top center to create the heart's characteristic mounds, while its back is brilliantly faceted, allowing for a gleaming play of light to shine through. The setting is entirely handmade and features a 14k yellow gold, milgrain edged bezel around the stone atop a milgrain edged platinum frame. The platinum frame is set with 60 rose-cut diamonds totaling 1.20 carats and graded near colorless F-G grade and clean VS clarity grade. The bale is newer and bezel-set with two full cut diamonds totaling .12 carat and graded near colorless G-H grade and VS clarity grade.
