The piece is in excellent estate condition and ready to wear. There is a small chip to one lens. The spring mechanism still works well. Both the lorgnette and lorgnette chain are made of platinum and set with diamonds. The chain is set with approximately .40 carats of Vs clarity, G/H color old European cut diamonds (7 total). The lorgnette is set with approximately .15 carats of similar quality old European cut diamonds and 1 single cut diamond (10 diamonds total)
